CBC Overview

Here at Christian Joy Center We call our membership classes the "Covenant Bonding Course". The reason for this is because we believe that a covenant is the strongest bond known to man and a church member must be `bonded´ together with their local church.

Membership Requirements:

To become a member at CJC a person must be a born-again believer. A person can not join the church because they must be born into it. After a person is born-again they must attend the Covenant Bonding Course.

The Purpose Of The Covenant Bonding Course:

The Purpose of the Covenant Bonding Course is to inform you about the teachings and beliefs of CJC. We want you to be well informed about us.

The Classes & Their Content:

The Covenant Bonding Course consists of three classes. They do not need to be taken in any particular order as long as all three named classes are taken.

The classes are:

  1. The Membership Manual
    • A brief history of CJC
    • The leadership's responsibility to the laity
    • The laities' responsibility to CJC
    • The explanation of the service
    • Our articles of faith and the ordinances of CJC are also covered in this class
    • and much, much more
  2. The Ministry of Helps
    • Explains the purpose of the ministry of helps
    • Who does it help
    • Areas where you can work
    • and much, much more
  3. The Ministry of Finances
    • God's plan for your finances
    • The different types of offerings
    • The importance of tithing
    • Where the tithe belongs
    • And much more
